Ginger is commonly used as a stimulant of the peripheral circulation in cases of bad circulation, chilblains and cramp. It can also act as a diaphoretic, by increasing perspiration in feverish conditions. Studies have shown that Ginger can reduce the rate of onset of nausea. Ginger is, therefore, often taken during pregnancy for morning sickness, as well as for motion sickness.

Ginger may also alleviate indigestion, colic and flatulence. A reduction in joint pain and improvement in joint movement in sufferers of rheumatoid arthritis has been documented in human studies for Ginger.

Active Botanicals Ginger provides 40 mg of extract that is equivalent to 800 mg of dry rhizome, and standardised to 22 % gingerols, to guarantee potency and consistency of therapeutic effects.

Formulation
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) 40mg standardised extract, 22% gingerols............................800mg

Directions for Use

  • Adults - 1-2 capsules a day (with food), or as professionally prescribed.
  • Low allergy formulation.
  • No added sugar, wheat, salt, corn, milk, yeast, glutens, artificial colouring, flavouring or preservatives.
  • Capsules of vegetable origin.

Indications for Use
Ginger is recommended for anyone who suffers nausea, such as motion sickness, or during the first months of pregnancy. Because Ginger stimulates the digestive process, it also benefits conditions such as colic, flatulence and indigestion. Ginger is a warming herb that can improve peripheral circulation and, can thus, benefit conditions such as chilblains and cold hands and feet. Ginger is suitable for anyone suffering from joint immobility or pain, as well as a preventative against the onset of such conditions.

Contraindications
Not to be used in high doses during pregnancy unless under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
